She is an MFA candidate in Studio Art at the University of Texas at Austin and earned a BA in Photography from Kyungil University in South Korea. She has exhibited at the Canon Gallery, Samchully Building, and Daedeok Cultural Center in Korea, earning awards and finalist status. Often characterized by intimate, tactile, and poetic, her photographs have been featured on the covers of Vostok Magazine and Axt, the literature magazine.
She is currently interested in how textual fragments such as poems, prose, and oral interview scripts can be visually interpreted as photographic images and harmonized into an artist book. The artistic labor of bookmaking and box-building is central to her work, in which the tactile interaction between the work and the audience is valued primarily for its role in creating a more intimate experience and immersion. Collecting archives, reconstructing narratives, and commemorating minute moments in collective memory have been her primary ways of silently surviving against violence and trauma and of beholding the fringes of society and erased history.
